"FOOD FOR ALL"
GAKINA AWIYAA OMICIWIN

About Us

Erickson & Area Food Bank Inc. (EAFB) is a non-profit, charitable organization, working to reduce hunger, increase food security, and build resiliency in our region. Our motto is: "FOOD FOR ALL/ 'Gakina Awiyaa Omiciwin'

We are situated on the ancestral lands of the Anishnaabe, Oji-Cree, Dakota, Lakota, Dene and Metis peoples. We serve Rolling River First Nation (Treaty 4), Keeseekoowenin First Nation (Treaty 2), and the RM's of Erickson-Clanwilliam and Harrison Park

We are dedicated to recognizing the harms of the past, and to moving forward in healing and reconciliation. By working together, we will make a better future for all.

Our Vision

"Fostering health, social justice, and long-term food security"

Food Security Projects

Food insecurity is a pressing issue in Canada, affecting millions of people, including 1 in 5 children. It's alarming that many food insecure households are working households. At the Erickson & Area Food Bank, we strive to provide nutritious food and support health and wellness programs.

Our mission is to help those in need and create a healthier, more secure community.

Volunteers Packing Food
